  7. Charlene asked for a recipe for Forgotten Cookies.  My mother always made
  8. these when she had egg whites left over; our parents generation was so
  9. efficient !!  These are real good, tho...

  11. Heat oven to 475 degrees.

  13.  2     egg whites - beat till stiff
  14. 2/3 C  sugar      - add slowly
  15. pinch  salt            ___
  16. 1/2 C  chocolate chips    |
  17.  1  C  nut meats          |- add
  18.  1  t  vanilla         ___|
  19.  
  20. Cover cookie sheet with foil
  21. Drop on foil; they do not raise or spread
  22. Put in oven; turn off; do not open until the next morning
